I have been an amateur photographer since the 1970's. Four years ago, I moved over to digital photography. I am a member of Parkwood Camera club, which has helped me to learn more about photographic techniques, composition and style. I have had an article published about me in the Medway Standard (14 August 2007), and one of my night shots of Rochester Cathedral was used for an article in Kent On Sunday (11 November 2007) Maidstone Museum requested many images I had taken inside the museum, for promotional and archival purposes. Also, I have had a favourable written testimony from the curator the Guildhall Museum Rochester about the quality of my images of the museum, shown to many of the staff as an audio/visual DVD presentation. I have done some work for the Historic Dockyard Chatham, having covered the 2008 "Beating Retreat" and" Blitz Ball" events. One of my images of the "Big Store" (No 3 slip) is on the Dockyards website, and has also been used in the special 25th anniversary addition of the guide publication, as well as on the cover of press packs, and is featured on the 25th anniversary display on the mezzanine floor of 3 slip. |
